Question : What are the technology requirements to take an online course?
Answer : You will need a computer/laptop/iPad, a high speed Internet connection, a newer version of a web browser, and access to common tools and software like word processors, email, etc.

Question : What are the admission requirements for Online Learning courses?
Ans : The Online Learning program currently operates in yearly basis. Registration begins when the course offerings are counselled on the Online Learning website and continues until the first day of classes or the course is full. Please carefully read through the registration section. Early registration, at least one week prior to the first day of class, is encouraged for any student who is not familiar with computer hardware, the Internet, email and software such as discussion boards or chat rooms.

Question : How do I contact my course instructor?
Answer : Instructors stay in touch with their Online Learning students in a variety of ways, like email and chat. Your instructor will explain the best way to reach him or her within the course home pages. You may communicate with your instructor through discussion groups, bulletin boards, chat rooms, assignment submissions, or through email.

Question. How are exams administered?
Answer : Proctored (supervised) exams are required for Online Learning as well. For courses that require proctored exams, please refer to the e-mails or consult the instructor on weekly basis.

Question. Can you stay focused?
Answer : Online learning programs require an enormous amount of self-discipline and willpower. Who is going to make you attend your classes? Nobody, but you! Through online school classes, you must be aware of weekly deadlines. If you’re tempted to slack at all, perhaps you should consider the other option, which is to participate in on-campus classes requiring you to attend classes in person and at a specific time.

Question. Do you feel the need for one-on-one attention from your instructor? Or, do you prefer the camaraderie and support of fellow students?
Answer : If so, you are sure to get that from on-campus attendance. But, did you know you can receive the same attention and mentorship through an online class? Most online schools now offer numerous ways to contact instructors, as well as, virtual chat rooms to interact with classmates. However, with online learning, you must not be afraid to speak up and express your concerns when needed.
